1970-born Shiga-native Takanori Nishikawa made his debut in the name of T.M.Revolution in May 1996, with single "Dokusai ~monopolize~". Ever since, he has established a reputation as a singer with ear-catching tunes, intriguing, irresistible and perfect stage setting and live performances.

While enjoying high acclaim by continuously releasing high-quality works in terms of both music and visual, TMR released his first greatest hits album B*E*S*T in March 2002, as culmination of his activities over six years. In October that year, he released the smash hit single "INVOKE", which turned out to be the first of his tie-in project series with Mobile Suit Gundam.

Following the release of single "Albireo" in which he collaborated with Swarovski, TMR released his seventh studio album, aptly titled SEVENTH HEAVEN, in February 2002. Later that year, he released single "Web of Night", the Japanese theme song of movie Spiderman 2 in July, and "ignited", the second of the Gundam tie-in series in November.

In recent years, TMR has built global fan base and reputation mainly among Japanimation fans. He has performed at major anime conventions in the US, such as OTAKON 2003 (@ Baltimore, MD, August 2003), Pacific Media Expo (@ Anaheim, CA and other cities, May 2004) to name a few, which led to the US release of albums SEVENTH HEAVEN and vertical infinity. He also enjoys popularity in Asian countries such as Taiwan, and releases singles and albums in respected regions.

TMR launched his 10-year anniversary project in 2005. He released single "vestige" in August 2005, and released greatest hits album UNDER:COVER in January 2006, in which he showcased new renditions and charm of his previously released tracks. In June 2006, he released a CD and a DVD, both entitled 1000000000000, featuring all singles and music videos he had released. On September 19, 2006, his 36th birthday, he performed a special concert with Peter Pan at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka.

T.M.Revolutionユs latest release is T.M.R. LIVE REVOLUTION ユ06 ~UNDER:COVER~, which includes the entire footage of his Budokan concert, as part of the 10th anniversary tour under the same title.

In addition to his musical activities, TMR appeared in a musical for the first time in eight years, starring in How To Succeed in April 2007, where he displayed another dimension of his expressional ability. Today T.M.Revolution continues to expand his scope of activities.
